Been Away

Summer has been a bit heavy on both the Daddy front, and the music front. My band, The Cave Weddings went on a midwest tour. Now back to the grind.

the first scene of my new animated short in progress. very much a rough cut, with still quite a few bugs in the sound. this is a very lo-res version posted, since it took forever to post such a long vid. i'll upload a high-res version to sendspace, and can send the link to anyone who wants to download the full thing.

Storyboard for new project

This is a sort of digital sketch for a new animation/projection project. Ideally, this work will move around two to three walls of a gallery space, maybe overlapping with other pieces.

Why I haven't posted in so long

Been working on this monstrosity. I call it alternately 'the city', 'the monolith', or 'the death star'. Still in progress, and will eventually be placed into the previously posted silver background thingy. The image that includes the flatfiles gives an idea of scale, the other shots are details.
